ONCE
UPON A TIME, IN A GALAXY FAR, FAR, AWAY...
Tom
Devlin and Lola Wallace turned a North Hollywood apartment into the
interior of a spaceship for a two day feature film called "Plan
10 from Inner Space". The film was about two aliens who were being
sent to Earth in order to prevent the birth of an American president
who would later be responsible for the destruction of their planet.
Throughout the film, they try nine plans to prevent Barbara Bush from
giving birth before they come up with the one that finally works - Plan
10.
Plan
10 Pictures is a motion picture distribution company that aims to provide
home entertainment to the abnormal, quirky, morbid, strange and /or
altogether weird viewer who craves something new and fresh when it comes
to horror, thriller, sci-fi, cult and exploitation films. At Plan 10
we are all fans of the genre's that we distribute and most of our films
are made with a "for the fans, by the fans" mentality.
Tom
Devlin - Tom
has been working as a professional Makeup FX artist for 9 years. He
studied at the Joe Blasco Makeup School, then spent a few years working
with Matthew Mungle's WM Creations, where he worked on several Hollywood
films and television series. During this time, Tom and the WM team
were nominated for an Emmy for their work on the X-Files. Tom also
took turns working for Almost Human, Optic Nerve and Makeup Effects
Laboratory. Tom then set out to make a name for himself and started
up 1313FX. Under 1313FX, Tom has worked as Key Special Makeup FX or
Makeup FX Supervisor on 50 feature films. Tom has also produced four
feature films with director Lola Wallace. As a producer, Devlin is
able to combine his do it yourself attitude with the aid of talented
filmmakers he has worked with throughout his career to deliver a product
that is way beyond the expectations of the budget he has to work with.
As the mastermind behind Plan 10 Pictures, Tom brings several years
of industry experience combined with a genuine excitement for independent
film.
Lola
Wallace - Lola
graduated from the film production program at the University of Southern
California's School of Cinematic Arts in 2003. After graduation, she
took a turn working in location sound production and sound editing on
several indie films. Since 2005, Lola has directed four feature films
including The Trek which received a limited theatrical release. Tired
of waiting around for another distributor to release her first two films,
Lola and Tom Devlin teamed up to start their own distribution company
to give her films the release that they deserve. With the education
she received at USC and her years of industry experience, Lola is able
to combine her knowledge with Tom's DIY attitude to create an exciting
new approach to filmmaking and distribution.
